The following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding the Walk Out and School Closure that began on Thursday, April 26.
Tempe Elementary will use email, information on www.tempeschools.org/walkout, phone calls, and verified district and school social media accounts to communicate information regarding the school closure.
All schools in the Tempe Elementary School District will REOPEN on Friday, May 4, 2018. Please read the Superintendent's letter below with more detailed information.
This includes: Aguilar Elementary, Arredondo Elementary, ASPIRE Academy at Connolly, Broadmor Elementary, Carminati Elementary, Connolly Middle School, Curry Elementary, Fees College Preparatory Middle School, Frank Elementary, Fuller Elementary, Getz School, Gililland Middle School, Holdeman Elementary, Hudson Elementary, Laird School, Meyer Montessori, Nevitt Elementary, Rover Elementary, Scales Technology Academy, Tempe Academy of International Studies, Thew Elementary, Ward Traditional Academy, and Wood Elementary. Tempe Elementary School District has created a list of Tempe resources for parents and guardians regarding child care and food service during the walk out. Please note this list will be updated throughout the walk out. Parents and guardians will be notified when the list has been updated.
