Directions

The Tempe Elementary District Office (Sanchez Administration Building) is located on the northeast corner of Southern Avenue and Rural Road (3205 South Rural Road) in Tempe, Arizona. It is one block north of the Superstition Freeway (U.S. 60) on Rural Rd.; 2 miles west of Loop 101 (Price/Pima Freeway) just north of Fry’s Food and Drug Store on Southern Ave.; less than 3 miles south of Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) on Rural Road. (Take the Scottsdale Road exit and go south off the Red Mountain Freeway. Scottsdale Road becomes Rural Road south of the Salt River/Tempe Town Lake.)

From the East:

Option 1: Take the Red Mountain Freeway (Loop 202) west to the Scottsdale Road exit and go south less than 3 miles to Southern Avenue. (Scottsdale Road becomes Rural Road south of the Salt River/Tempe Town Lake.) The district office will be on your left (northeast corner) before you get to the traffic light at Southern Avenue.

Option 2: Take the Red Mountain Freeway (Loop 202) west to the Pima/Price Freeway (Loop 101 South) to the Southern Avenue exit. Go west on Southern Avenue for 2 miles to Rural Road. The district office will be on the northeast corner of Southern Avenue and Rural Road. You may also take the Red Mountain Freeway (Loop 202) west to the Pima/Price Freeway (Loop 101 South) and follow the signs to the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway). Exit the U.S. 60 at Rural Road and go north to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your right (northeast corner).

Option 3: Take the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) west to the Rural Road exit. Go north on Rural Road to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your right (northeast corner).

From the West:

Take I-10 (Maricopa Freeway) east to the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway). Take the Rural Road exit off the freeway and go north about 1 mile to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your right (northeast corner).

From the South:

Option 1: Take I-10 (Maricopa Freeway) north to the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) where it continues east. Take the Rural Road exit off the freeway and go north to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your right (northeast corner).

Option 2: Take Rural Road north to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your right (northeast corner).

From the North:

Take Rural Road (Scottsdale Road if you are north of the Salt River/Tempe Town Lake) south to Southern Avenue where the district office will be on your left (northeast corner).
