Health is taught in all grades through P.E. The ultimate goal of a comprehensive health education is to help all students reach and maintain their highest level of health and wellness. Basic to health education is the understanding of the relationship between physical, behavioral and social well being, as well as the prevention of diseases and other health problems. Students learn to accept responsibility for personal health decisions and practices, work with others to maintain a healthy environment, and become informed consumers.
