Holiday Cheer, Presents Given to Tempe Elementary Families Thanks to SpreadDLove LLC
SpreadDLove LLC recently hosted an amazing holiday event for Tempe Elementary families which included food, fun, and a visit from Santa. For the second year in a row, the organization has filled the wish lists of families this holiday season through their Adopt a Family program. A record number of 71 gift bags were distributed at this event.
SpreadDLove LLC was created in honor of Don Liem former president of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and charter president of Tempe Diablos, to continue his remarkable legacy of kindness, philanthropy, and dedication to making this world a better place.
Adopt a Family was an annual tradition that Liem looked forward to year after year. He would work through local non-profit organizations to identify families in need and would organize the shopping, wrapping and delivery of gifts in a full Santa Claus costume while handing out candy canes and singing holiday carrols. Don Liem passed away on July 29, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
In honor of Don Liem, his family members founded SpreadDLove LLC with the goal of helping as many families as possible. Joanna Stewart, granddaughter of Liem, has been instrumental in the planning of this organization.
“It feels great to give back during the holiday season and we are just happy to carry on the passion of giving that our grandfather passed on to us,” said Stewart.
