Tempe Elementary offers two self-contained options for students who appreciate experiences presented in ways that gifted learners learn best and encourages them to discover deeper connections to their education.
ASPIRE Academy is for the GIFTED LEARNER

Two self-contained gifted options are available
1.) ASPIRE Academy at Arredondo (Immersive school grades 3-5)
2.) ASPIRE Academy at Connolly Middle School (grades 6-8) -
Focused on personalized pacing, skills-based mastery, accelerated coursework, and meaningful learning.

Experiences presented in ways that gifted students learn best, encouraging them to discover deeper connections to their education.

Taught by teachers with a Gifted PreK-12 teaching endorsement or working toward an endorsement including the Special Area and Electives teachers.

Incorporates grade-level Arizona Academic Standards as well as the National Standards in Gifted and Talented Education

Self-contained 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-grade gifted school with plans to expand
ASPIRE Academy at Connolly
Self-contained gifted program for middle school students located at Connolly Middle School.
I love being an ASPIRE student because we get more hands-on experience. We think differently. We don't think 'Two plus two equals four.' We think, 'What can we add to two plus two to make it not equal four?’
