Tempe Elementary School District is requesting vendors to complete an on-line registration at the above link in order to be notified of open solicitations. Arizona Purchasing is a website dedicated to Arizona school districts for the purpose of developing a central and statewide prospective bidder’s list and posting solicitations on-line. 

Registration is not necessary if you have completed a Vendor Registration Application at azpurchasing.org.  However, please be sure to indicate "Maricopa County" to receive Tempe Elementary School District’s solicitations.

Tempe Elementary School District will only be using this on-line system for its notification of solicitations. 

Tempe Elementary School District encourages participation by all businesses in our solicitation process, including but not limited to: local businesses, small businesses, minority-owned firms, and women's business enterprises. 

Tempe Elementary School District, AZ has partnered with OpenGov and is excited to announce our transition from a paper-based bid solicitation process to a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system. Below are the bids and proposals currently being solicited and the corresponding closing dates for each. Our new eProcurement Portal will allow interested parties to do the following:

• Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities in the eProcurement Portal by selecting "Subscribe" to create an account.

• Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This will allow all interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically.
• Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations.
• Guide vendors through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure submissions have been accurately completed.
• Ultimately, be your one location for all bid opportunities issued by the School District.

Purchasing is responsible for developing and implementing Tempe Elementary School District's purchasing policies as well as enforcing all applicable state and federal procurement laws. 

Our goal is to make the purchasing process as competitive and objective as possible, while striving to promote high standards for all business relationships. Our objectives are to obtain, on a timely basis, quality products and services as economically as possible.  We strive to ensure that our schools and various operating departments receive the best value for the tax dollars that are expended.

The School District Procurement Rules authorize and govern intergovernmental procurements. Cooperative Purchase Agreements have been signed with several organizations to reduce administrative duplication, to promote "best value" purchasing and to obtain economies of scale. Currently, the Tempe Elementary School District is a member of the following purchasing consortiums:
