"Whatever it takes, we are college bound!" That's the Connolly Middle School moto and their nationally recognized AVID program is helping make that a reality.
The AVID program requires students to apply and participate in an interview process, commit to taking advanced classes, and build positive academic habits. AVID students benefit from mentorship, positive peer support, college field trips, and skill-building that empowers them to take ownership of their education and future.
This opportunity reflects Tempe Elementary’s commitment to strengthen specialized programs and/or school options, as outlined in Goal 3.3 of the Strategic Plan.
