Students Shine at the 2026 District Spelling Bee

2026 Spelling Bee Champions

Tempe Elementary Schools hosted its annual district-wide Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 22, at the Sanchez Administration Building. Nineteen students from across the district competed in the Bee, each earning their spot by first winning their school-based competitions earlier this month.

After several rounds of impressive spelling, Fuller Elementary fifth grader Adam Silverman was crowned champion. Silverman will go on to represent Tempe Elementary Schools in the Maricopa County Regional Bee on February 21.

A special congratulations to our runner-ups, who will also compete in the regional competition:

Congratulations to all of our participants for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding spelling skills. We are proud of each of you!
