Bullying: Signs, Symptoms, and Solutions: A bully is defined as an individual who seeks out others that are viewed as vulnerable, with the intent to cause harm. Bullying is a reality for our youth, and is important to know signs and strategies to support those who are bullying and being bullied. 2/12/2020 - 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Inspiring Youth to Make Positive Life Choices

notMYkid was started in 1999 by Debbie and Steve Moak. The non-profit organization was born out of the real life experience of a family dealing with substance abuse. Today, notMYkid continues to flourish. The heart of our organization remains solidly committed to promoting positive life choices by educating youth, families, and communities about the consequences of destructive youth behaviors.

Presenting Classes at Tempe Elementary District - Bustoz Learning Center (2020 E. Carson Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282.) All classes begin at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Thrive to Five Family Resource Center

Offering Free Classes & Resources to Families with Children Ages 0 to 5 Years Old

The Thrive to Five Family Resource Center is part of the Tempe Elementary School District and provides family support services and community referrals to parents and/or caregivers of children ages birth to five years old. Thrive to Five offers free educational programs including early literacy, nutrition, child development, art and literacy, STEAM, and kindergarten readiness classes to promote the understanding of early childhood development. Thrive to Five offers a two-generational approach giving families and caregivers the knowledge, skills, and resources to help children prepare for success in school.
