Tempe Elementary Goes Green
We’re taking big steps toward a sustainable future with our Go Green initiative. This project focuses on implementing cutting-edge, energy-saving measures across our campuses, enhancing both environmental and economic outcomes.
Thank you to the Tempe Elementary voters for passing the 2022 bond to make this project possible!
Project Priorities

Modernize
Learning Environments
With the upgrades from this project, our classrooms will not only be more modern and welcoming, but also more environmentally friendly. By incorporating features such as LED lighting, smart temperature control systems, and energy-efficient appliances, we're creating a more comfortable space for both educators and students.

Address
Maintenance Needs
Recognizing the importance of safe and functional facilities, we're taking proactive steps addressing future maintenance needs across our campuses. From repairing aging infrastructure to improving HVAC systems, these actions are essential to providing students and educators with secure, comfortable, and well-maintained learning environments.

Demonstrate Wise
Financial Stewardship
The energy savings generated by these upgrades will allow the District to reinvest funds into student resources, teacher support, and other critical areas. This ensures every dollar goes further without compromising on sustainability or quality. We're committed to maximizing every dollar spent for the benefit of our students and community.

Long-Term
Sustainability
We believe in creating a more sustainable future, both environmentally and operationally. We're prioritizing energy-efficient practices and sustainable solutions to reduce costs and environmental impact. By integrating renewable energy sources and eco-conscious initiatives, we are committed to fostering a more responsible school system for generations to come.
