Visitors & Volunteers
We believe engaging with families and the broader Tempe community make our schools stronger.
In order to maintain the safety and security of our school campuses and ensure visitors have a positive experience, please review our policies and procedures outlined on this page.
Visitor Policy
All visitors must sign-in/out at the school office before entering and exiting campus. In addition, all visitors must attain a visitor badge and must wear it visibly at all times while on the school campus.
Whenever possible, please call the school office prior to your visit to ensure there are not additional requirements or events. Visitors are not permitted during testing.
Volunteer Application Process
Many of our schools welcome volunteers throughout the school year to provide extra support in the classroom or to assist with special events.
Parents or guardians who wish to volunteer in their child’s classroom only during the day are not required to be fingerprinted. However, if a parent/guardian would like to volunteer outside of their child’s classroom, in before and after-school programs, or will accompany students on a field trip, fingerprint clearance is required.
Fingerprint Clearance Process
Fingerprint information is required as part of our steps for processing community volunteer applications as well as parent applications for those who wish to volunteer beyond their child’s classroom.
