When Do Benefits Begin?
Benefits begin on the 1st of the month, 30 days after your start date.
For example, if your start date is September 9, 30 days after your start date is October 9. Therefore, benefits begin on November 1.
Who is Eligible?
Employees, spouses, and dependents up to age 26 are eligible for benefits! Classified employees working 0.625 FTE (25 hours per week), Certified employees, and administrators working 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week) or more are eligible for benefits.
