When will I receive my child's bus schedule?

How do I put money on my child's lunch account?
Visit myschoolbucks.com to deposit money in your child’s lunch account for the first day of school. Download a Meal Application here and mail it in or drop it off for early enrollment. Call (480) 642-1541 Ext. 7608 for more information.
When is Meet the Teacher Night?
Come visit your school and meet your new teachers! Meet the Teacher Night is Thursday, August 2.
2 - 6 p.m. – Connolly Middle School, Fees College Prep, Gililland Middle School, and Tempe Academy of International Studies. You will be able to pick up your schedule as well.
4:30 - 6:30 p.m. – Elementary Schools, Getz School, Meyer Montessori, Laird School, Ward Traditional Academy
When can middle school students (Connolly, Fees College Prep, Gililland, and Tempe Academy) pick up their schedules?
Middle school students/parents may visit their school to pick up class schedules and bus schedules on the same day as the Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 2, 2018, any time between 2-6 p.m. Immunizations must be up-to-date before schedules are released. Please bring most recent immunization records. This includes records of your student’s Tdap and meningitis shots.
PE Uniforms can be purchased during schedule pick-up for $15. CASH only please.
What school supplies will my child need?
Parents DO NOT need to buy school supplies for their children. Tempe Elementary School District ensures each child receives all the necessary supplies he or she needs for academic success. However, you can always ask your child’s teacher(s) if there is anything specific you can purchase to help the classroom.
How do I know if my child's school has a uniform dress code?
Some of our schools have a uniform dress code. Please refer to the following dress standards pages on each school website to find information about how your child should be dressed for the first day of school. Click on the school names below for the school's specific uniform dress code:
Aguilar Elementary, Arredondo Elementary, Carminati Elementary, Connolly Middle School, Curry Elementary, Fees College Preparatory Middle School, Frank Elementary, Holdeman Elementary,Laird School, Nevitt Elementary, Scales Technology Academy, Thew Elementary,Ward Traditional Academy and Wood Elementary
Broadmor, Fuller, Gililland, Hudson, Rover, and Tempe Academy of International Studies, do not have a uniform dress code. For these schools, please click here to view District Dress Standards.
What types of before and after school programs are available?
Each school offers a variety of clubs and organizations to enrich student learning. Check with your child's school to find out why types of programs are offered.

At the majority of our schools, the City of Tempe offers the Kid Zone Enrichment Program before and after school.
