We deliver research, evaluation and assessment services designed to guide decision making to improve teaching and learning in the Tempe Elementary School District. The Research, Evaluation and Assessment staff are responsive to the ever changing needs of departments, schools, teachers and students. Continuous support is provided to implement assessments and interpret results, relay district research findings, and utilize actionable data to make decisions.


azmerit imageAttention parents! Student assessment results will arrive at your child's home address in July. 

Parents of students in third-grade through eighth-grade in the 2018-2019 school year will receive AzMERIT English Language Arts and Math test results for the tests that they completed this spring. Seventh- and eighth-grade students who took higher Math - Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II will receive their end of course assessment results as well. Fourth- and eighth-grade students will also receive their AIMS Science test results in this mailing.
