Any person wishing to conduct research in Tempe School District No. 3 must make a written request to the Superintendent.
The research application is not designed to furnish detailed information, but rather provide a record of the project and to facilitate the process. Thus, additional pertinent data may be attached to and submitted with the request.
Research projects are not imposed on school personnel without their concurrence except in unusual circumstances. When a project is approved, the researcher then has approval to contact the appropriate staff members to enlist their approval and support. If this approval and support is gained, the researcher may then proceed with the project.
Upon completion of the project, a copy of ensuing reports should be sent to the Superintendent. Additional copies may be sent to the appropriate staff members at the discretion of the researcher.
